Kate Longenecker has been working with executive teams for
over twenty years, first as a human resource executive and
then over the past six years as an executive search
consultant, primarily focused on executive level search
assignments in the technology, leisure/hospitality and real
estate development sectors. Her clients include large
resort developers to small technology companies in need of top
executive talent. Kate feels the key to her success as an
executive search consultant has been her passion around
building strong relationships with clients and candidates
during and after an active search assignment.
Prior to joining 21- Group, Kate was a
Principal with Heidrick & Struggles where she headed up their
Global Resort Practice and was a member of the firm's
International Technology Practice. As a former human resource
executive, Kate has held the following leadership positions;
Senior Vice President, MediaOne Broadband, Global Vice
President, Apple Computer, Inc. and Vice President, Aspen
Skiing Company. She has also held leadership positions with
Quark Software and Vail Resorts.
Kate earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political
Science and a Juris Doctor form the University of Wyoming.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Labor
Relations from the University of Oregon. She continues to
maintain a license to practice law in Colorado.
Kate serves on the Board of Advisors, College of Business at
the University of Colorado and is a member of the faculty for
Regis University where she is qualified to teach Management,
Organizational Strategies and Strategic Leadership. She is
also on the Board of Directors for Entrust Financial Services,
Inc. (ENFN:OTC), and is a member of the Advisory Board for
American Pacific Communications, Inc.
