From her base
in the North Jersey, Janice Bihler is a member of the 21- Group team that serves companies in New England and the Mid-Atlantic Region. She focuses on client
development efforts and search execution for companies ranging
in size from large, publicly-held corporations to start-ups and
venture funded organizations in the Healthcare, Publishing,
Retail and Consumer Goods market segments.
Before joining the 21-group in 2004, Janice was a Senior
Consultant with a New Jersey based management consulting firm
serving both Fortune 500 and smaller, privately held companies
in the Pharmaceutical, Communications and Consumer Goods
industries. Her engagements have focus on
organizational strategies and productivity as well executive
development and leadership team effectiveness.
Beginning her
career in education, Janice later joined Macy’s Corporation, one
of the largest retail companies in the country. During her
tenure, she managed high volume recruiting efforts, executive
development programs, and organizational planning initiatives
for store operations, merchandising functions and corporate
support services.
She joined
Apple Computer in 1983, and became the Human Resources Director
for the Eastern United States, developing programs to address
business challenges as the company grew from a start-up to a
major industry force over her 11 years with the Company.
She collaborated on the planning for the first direct field
sales organization for the Company, and recruited top sales
executives, marketing professionals, and technical support
staff. Janice later served in similar capacities for
Ziff-Davis Publishing and Liz Claiborne, Inc., and coached
executives undergoing career transitions in a variety of
industries.
Janice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from
Douglass College, Rutgers University. She is an active board
member of several education and community organizations in
Bergen County, New Jersey, where she resides with her family.
